A fun loving dragon mage, her world is turned upside down when she is cursed to remain human and blamed for the theft of dangerous artifacts from her school. Her magic blocked, the girl is thrown to her death, but narrowly escapes using the last of her magical power.
On the run with only her friend Kel’lor, a gargoyle, to protect her and stripped of her magic. Cheleya flees to the south and the lands of men looking for a cure to the curse on the dragoness. Pursued by agents of her betrayer, the two fight werewolves and killer shrikes looking for help.
