The work that inspired the continuing TV drama, starring Atsushi Ito. Koichi Toki, a businessman who was brought to another world in a net cafe he happens to enter with his first love, Kaho Tono. Toki turns his thoughts towards Tono while guiltily thinking about his wife who has disappeared. Later, Terasawa targets Tono and finds Toki his enemy, while strengthening his control of the other "drifters" with violence and sex from the woman that follows him. Can Toki protect Tono?
