Little Wolf has been behaving too courteously, so his parents send him to his uncle's Big Bad Wolf school to learn to be a proper wolf.

Little Wolf and his cousin Yeller Wolf decide that 'Badness' is out and that 'Adventures' are in. So, they open an Adventure Academy and hire Mister Marvo, a cunning fox disguised as a wolf, to build their Adventure Academy, but instead Marvo cubnaps Little Wolf's little brother, Smellybreff and steals their gold. With the help of a new friend, Stubbs, a shy but clever crow who is afraid of heights, the cubs begin a journey to rescue Smellybreff, and end up having real adventures of their own!

In this tale, Little Wolf becomes an "agony aunt" for "Wolf Weekly". His postbag is full of problem letters from many of the wigglers and brute beasts he has already met in his previous adventures.
