This series starts with Forged by Shadows, a Why Choose romance set in college with dark themes and an unraveling mystery. Left in her stepbrother's care, Avery must navigate her new home with his crew, the Shadows Souls, watching her every move.
There is an extensive trigger warning list and each character has their own past trauma to overcome. Together, despite their forced proximity, the group discover they've found their own version of a family, in which Avery is the main source of love and light. She is extremely headstrong, and she needs to be to keep her bully stepbrother from getting the best of her.
