I need to clear my head and found myself on the road, driving to the local cafe just inside the town by the pack.

Something smells unusually good. It’s like raspberries and chocolate. The silken creamy richness lingers in the air with a slight punctuated tartness.

My eyes flash yellow as we see the waitress. I know the smell is coming from this girl approaching. I know her. It’s Inez Calton. I used to bully her in High School. Under my breath I mutter, “Really Goddess?? You love playing games with me.” She is my mate.

Boy, do I have a lot to make up for.

I saw her walking towards me. Her white hair shimmering, green eyes locked and the dress... It slid around her curves with each step.

I’m a lucky wolf, if only I can just get her to forgive me.
