Kayel Zavis had been your average bounty hunter, until he’d been caught in a bar fight. Recruited to help by Zavvil, the head of the Royal Guard to the Danzaith King, he finds himself going off planet to try and put an end to the pet trade. He gets together his little band and they managed to slip onto the planet where the pets where being held. Unbeknownst to him, the first pet he meets happens to be his mate.

Human pet Jeremy Williams had been living in hell for a couple of years when he’d been suddenly taken away by another alien. Not knowing what was going on, he found himself mated to a stranger. After years of physical and emotional abuse, what was he going to do. Could he be mated to this alien, or were they all as bad as each other?

Can these two strangers find common ground to not only be friends, but mates. Will they be able to rescue the rest of the pets and put an end to the pet trade?

NOTE: There might be some triggers in here for people about half-way through the book. There are mentions of past forced sex, but no actual scenes of that in this book.
