Every leap, pack, and pride has its problems, and for the members of the Chavez Jaguar Leap, their number one problem is a lack of females. In a tradition dating back decades, to try and remedy their lack of female company, once a year the males of the leap travel to the city of Los Lobos to find females, kidnap them, mate them and live happily ever after… or at least, that’s the plan.

Lorenzo has his reservations about kidnapping a female. The scarred jaguar shifter fears that his looks alone would terrify any female against wanting to stay with him – never mind the whole kidnapping thing. But loyal to his leap, he’s willing to try and find the female for him – even if he doesn’t hold out much hope of actually finding her.

Sadie only cares about one thing – her daughter Mandy. In a half-hearted attempt to find a new boyfriend to make her look good in her ongoing custody battle, she goes to a speed dating event, and it isn’t long before she finds herself meeting a very growly, very sexy male.

Lorenzo kidnaps her to be his mate, but all Sadie can worry about is getting out of there so she can talk to Mandy. Can the two of them find their happily ever after together?
