Captor by Ember Chase
It would be a lot easier to hate the man holding me captive if he was nothing but the monster he appears to be, but there are so many other parts of him that intrigue me. His softer side that he keeps hidden from world. That fascinating mind so much like my own. A tender touch that comes out of nowhere accompanied by a sudden vulnerability in his pale blue eyes. Maybe even a good heart beating behind that solid chest I can't stop picturing every time I see him in one of his well-tailored suits. The longer he has me in his grasp, the more I want to know.

Just because he saved my life doesn't mean he owns me. He can't keep me
locked in here forever. He's not allowed to touch me any way he wants.
It doesn't matter how much money he has, this is still illegal. Even
when I kind of like it. I guess Shane plays by a different set of rules.

Maybe I truly do belong to him. But that doesn't mean I'll ever stop trying to escape.
