When Lea arrives on Xentra Station, she's hoping the rumours that it's a place you can find humans are true. Rescued from slavery by a bounty hunter, she's now hunting across the universe for her sister. Taph is fed up. Fed up of not having any leads on the human slave ring, fed up of the failure of the new station Commander to do anything about it. A chance encounter with Lea presents a perfect opportunity to infiltrate a nearby slaver stronghold on the planet Arafala, where he might just be able to find the piece of information, the clue that blows the whole human slave trade operation wide open.

The closer they get to Arafala, though, the more Lea and Taph start to doubt that they've made the right decision. To get what they both want, they have to put each other at considerable risk. But can they still do that when they might each be exactly what the other needs?
