Moon Justice by E.R. Pierce, Ryanne Hawk
Time doesn't heal all wounds, handy lie though it may be. Time forces acceptance of what cannot be changed." ~ Aurelia Fridell.

After Aurelia Fridell's ordeal in Fractured Moon, she travels with her mate, Ceithin Starkley, to Alaska to recuperate and hone her new shape-shifting skills. She needs to heal, and she needs to learn. However, their peace is disturbed by the townsfolk who task them with finding the animal killing their livestock and threatening their livelihood. Or else.

New developments at home force Ceithin and Aurelia to abort their investigation, leaving the Alaskan people to fend for themselves, while they return to Connecticut to thwart the madman planning revenge on the Fridell family.

If they don't succeed, there will be horrendous consequences for all of mankind...
