The Tower of Daelfaun by Aaron J. Ethridge
For Paul Stevens, a computer programmer from Aiken, SC, the worst part of falling asleep in a new place isn't the air mattress, but waking up in a world ruled by the undead. Drawn into a war on Zanoth between the living and the powerful lich Myra Kel Marran, Paul must give up any hope that this is just a bad dream, or that the two warriors who summoned him from Earth have any way of sending him back there.

But he's not without options. He can take up the quest to fulfill the words of the prophets, held sacred by the Warriors of Dawn, which will lead him through swamps and over mountains, to visit with hags and fairies, and transport him to places well beyond the realm of Zanoth itself. Or he can surrender to the undead legions in the hopes of a quick death at their hands, or even perhaps immortality as an undead consort.

Will Paul fulfill the prophecies and destroy the undead in order to earn his way back home? Or will he fall under Myra Kel Marran's deadly spell and die only to rise again in her ranks?
