Dragonic Pride by Katherine A. Smith
At the end of Book 2, Morrigan and Kyan, with the other escapees from Wost, had fled north and crashed in the wild lands unclaimed by humans. Here, they seem to have found refuge with the wild dragons, far beyond the Lady's reach, but they would soon learn that a refuge it is not. The wild dragons live in a society in crisis, rapidly declining due to an epidemic they cannot cure. Far from being the help Morrigan needs to battle the Lady, the wild dragons are desperate, and their leader, the Alpha, will do anything to save his people, including exploring any possible use for the strangers from Wost, and disposing of them if they have none. The riddles compound, and Morrigan has little time, before the Alpha makes his decision.

Third book in a series of four: fantasy, adventure, with a little mystery and romance. Adult/young adult, approximate "PG-13" rated.

This Kindle version is identical to the paperback version except it does not include the six black and white interior illustrations.
