This teenage romantic adventure is set in Shasta Cascade California and follows a certain teenager and his humorous escapades. Awkward teenager, Duane Dexter, is altered by aliens to become Guardian of the forest to protect a tribe of Bigfoot. Now as Phantom Bigfoot he has the hearts of Big Beaver's women and is hero-worshiped by every kid in town. Life is perfect. Duane runs free in the forest with his hairy friends, heals with a touch, senses danger before it happens and creates devious pranks to tease local law enforcement. Then disaster strikes. A popular teenager disappears, taken by Zola, a naughty Bigfoot. Can Duane keep the tribe a secret and protect the forest as the authorities search for the missing teenager? Or will the alien Elders come to regret their choice of Protector and banish Duane from the forest forever without his superpowers?
