Alf Dean Djanyagirnji is an anthropologist who has not forgotten the tribal wisdom of his ancestors. Inside a cave decorated with ancient Aboriginal paintings, Alf and the boy discover something far more unexpected: an alien artefact, a bright portal that transports them instantly hundreds of kilometres away, to another cave in the heart of the Australian continent.
