Commnader Ash Battle. Second eldest of the Battle brothers. Fastest flyer of all dragons and rescuer of twin hatchlings is shocked to realise his life that consisted only of battles and the companionship of his brothers, is now ended. With one dramatic flight he becomes a shadow and father.
Was it luck or by design that his shadow is Olinda, a wounded brokenhearted female, who does not trust herself or him. Ash will work to convince her he is worthy of not only her trust but her love. Together he and his dragon will mend her heart and ensure the survival of the future of dragon kind.
