Why? Jesse's been working for Section X long enough to know not to ask questions. She does her job and serves her country like a good little secret agent. End of story.
She's going to need a strong drink to get through this one, though, because Wyatt's not biting. All her best moves and all her best lines? Nada. No, he's just bitter and oblivious. And powerful. God, she's never seen a man with so much firepower. He calls himself the blood dragon, whatever that means. (Don't ask questions, remember?) He's got a quality to him she can't put her finger on. It's almost... noble? And blue eyes for miles. She could drown in those eyes.
Jesse gets results. So Wyatt is going to cooperate. Even if she has to go off script. Even if she has to get creative. Even if she has to bring him along for the ride.
