A meteor shower brings to earth an infectious disease which causes many people to die and become flesh eating monsters. Hank, a grocery store meat cutter, finds himself responsible for the protection of his co-workers, customers and friends, and he embarks on a dangerous mission to find a place of safety for them.

Bobby goes to stay for a few days with his grandmother whose health has been on the decline lately. As he begins to settle in they learn that sickening attacks by undead ghouls have started taking place all over the city, and soon the peaceful neighborhood becomes a horror scene. Bobby and a some of his grandmother's neighbors make a daring escape and try to safety in the countryside and encounter even greater dangers in the attempt.

Hank Harper, along with his friend Jennifer and their dog are trying to find family members they have become separated from during a zombie apocalypse. When their van breaks down they are forced to take shelter at a church where in addition to defending themselves against outside attacks very strange things have been going on. Hank and Jennifer are called on to perform very difficult tasks to help themselves and their hosts -- and in doing so come face to face with the enemy.
