I wrote it for me. I wanted a book with a strong heroine who is a humorous female lead as well as brave. I wanted witty characters and an epic fantasy hero who was also a humorous hero. I wanted a book that provided fast-paced adventure with plenty of action and cliffhanger moments I wanted it to be scifi but I wanted a humor fantasy series too, an epic science fiction novel, a ya action series, an alien world adventure with bizarre alien species, technology, believable characters, funny comedy moments, light-hearted British humour and bits of all the different genres I like.The series features a devilish baddie and the inhabitants of K’Barth are definitely galactic-style different. From Big Merv - the orange and slightly clammy Swamp Thing - to the small, red, furry resistance leader who will kill you if you call him cute the K’Barthan population has variety.
