Veiled Calls at Twilight by Kira Stanley
I spent my life trying to escape my mother’s superstitions. Her rituals. Her whispers of evil lurking beyond.

I chose logic. A master’s degree. A new life.

But when she died, guilt dragged me back to honor her in the only way I knew how. A quiet song at her grave. A final goodbye.

Then he appeared.

A man covered in shadows, tattoos, and riddles. The next thing I knew, I was unconscious, and when I woke, I was no longer free.

I found myself chained to a bed, surrounded by three men who claim my mother’s past held the answers they needed. They were violent. Cold. Unforgiving. But beneath the surface, I saw it, the cracks. The pain. The brokenness.

I should've fought, no, I should've ran, but instead, something deeper called me to them.

As enemies closed in and their father’s empire demanded blood, the lines between hate and obsession blurred. They wanted answers. I wanted freedom, but fate may have other plans.

And if I fell for them, it wouldn’t just cost me my heart… it could cost me my life.

This is a dark RH mafia with a small sprinkle of mystical elements. It's up to the reader to decide if it's all psychosis and mental instability… or something old and traditional… something you can't explain. For content/trigger warnings, please check the authors website.
