Jaga's Bones by Simon McHardy
After Jaga’s father has a dinner time epiphany she is abandoned to the necromantic order of the Sisters of Gloam, a dumping ground for the sick, morally bankrupt, and the generally undesirable—a sadistic sisterhood where necrophilia is a lifestyle choice.

Jaga must survive the sisterhood’s murderous trials, and her equally murderous classmates just to end up part of an invasion force that kills first and asks questions later.

Literally.

Taron, a crippled farmer in possession of a sexually frustrated, homicidal, demonic axe (or vice versa), must save his homeland from the sisterhood and try not to pick up too many bad habits—or any Sisters of Gloam—along the way.
