E. Steven Hodges drank the entire pitcher of corporate Kool Aide as he became a master manipulator to climb the corporate ladder in pursuit of his idea of success. After unknowingly giving his corporate masters the information they needed to justify moving their entire manufacturing operation to Mexico, Steven Hodges realizes that he has betrayed the very people who worked to raise him and give him the opportunity to succeed in life. Steven transforms back into Elmer and leaves the corporate world behind as he works to renovate his childhood cabin where he plans to become a hermit. Elmer meets the girl of his dreams along the way, and the two pair up to construct a textbook version of a prepper’s homestead. Little did they know what their future held.
