What can I say about the bully from my past? Nothing good, that’s what.
I do not care that my family has been trying to convince me that he has once a bully, always a bully. It’s easy for them to say to give him another chance because he didn’t torment them as a young child, just me.
My heart is racing with dread because he is coming back to visit after all these years, since he has injured himself and needs a place to recuperate from the accident he had while on a ski shoot. He is determined to stay at my family’s estate, but guess what? I won’t be there for that devil to torment, the fine-looking piece of— Ah, never mind. My apologies, I got distracted there for a minute.
As I was saying, I am not taking that chance of being there in close proximity to him, and I will spend my time at the family cabin, running , I mean spending my days not having to run into Rory.
Or so I thought. Damn.
