I, Violet Stokes, do solemnly swear to have the best darn gardening club in all of Santa Barbara that’s dedicated to only my fellow flower named sisters. We’ll be plucking ladies and have the best membership pins of any club anywhere. Wait, that’s what I’ll name us, The Plucking Ladies Garden Club. With my best friend, Leilani, at my side, I know it will be a success.

I was right for several years until a small oversight allowed him into the club. I’ve argued that I created a female only club but he states that my bylaws say no such thing. He insisted that he had more of a place in my club than me because both of his names are plant-based. Now, I’m stuck in a battle with an intruder who feels he has every right to be a Plucking Lady.

I know what he’s doing, his plot is petty but my hands are technically tied. Every time we collide he presses my buttons, severely derailing my mission to leave swear words behind. I’m pretty sure I hate him but I have to focus on a way to kick him out because…WHAT THE PLUCK?
