Black Magic, White Lies by Trina M. Lee
It was only a matter of time until Gabriel went off the deep end. I can’t help but worry that he’ll take me with him.

When The Circle of the Veil asks me to hunt down an escaped demon, Gabriel wants only to help. Unfortunately, even simple magic is too dangerous for him now. His darkness takes the driver’s seat, and it is not pretty. To make matters worse, nobody can agree on the best way to handle him. Falon takes an aggressive stance, but I won’t let him hurt Gabriel.

My sister is doing a great job of being a distraction. Between her messed up shenanigans and the conflict with Falon, I barely have time to find a way to stop Gabriel. If I don’t stop him before he triggers my dark side, I'll probably join him.
