This is a dark monster romance. There is yearning at the start, with a theme of will he eat her, or eat her. Then there are LOTS of NSFW scenes. Dax is a monstrous blood-drinking flesh-eating monster, trying so hard to stay under the radar and on the wagon...until Candice moves into the apartment opposite. She is utterly monster bait, and Dax just can't resist her. She also has a bloody secret of her own, and it delights him. The book is mostly from Dax's point of view, but more POV chapters from Candice as the book progresses. TW- blood, gore, violence, murder, serial killers, NSFW sex scenes. For the main characters, it has a monstrously HEA.
