Victoria Marshall has recently moved to the US, due to the recent death of her father. She finds herself living with her Aunt Dottie whilst she struggles to adapt to her new life, attending college to study English Literature in the hope of teaching.
She finds herself meeting Drake Anderson, a player both on and off the field. As handsome as he is, one thing Victoria can't stand is drama, and Drake seems to be surrounded by it.
Try as she might they can't seem to keep away from each other, and even she can't deny the sparks that fly whenever they are together. Despite having her reservations, Victoria has to go with her heart; whatever the consequences.
