This story is set in a small Italian village where an old carpenter named Geppetto lived. One night, he made a sweet little boy from wood. He made this boy with long thin legs, a round face and a very long nose. Then a fairy came and added life in the wooden puppet. Now Pinocchio could walk and talk likethe other boys. But, he turned out to be very naughty and got himself in trouble.
His most famous feature was his nose which grew longer and longer whenever he lied! This book describes his escapades through colourful illustrations that are meant for the pleasure of young children and at the same time it teaches them valuable life lessons.
