I've known it down to my very bones even when I was a little girl. I think she loved me because she had to. It never bothered me much until she decided to send me off to her brother for the summer break.
I don't really remember Uncle Huck.
I know that he's quiet for the most part and likes to be left alone.
Showing up on his doorstep unannounced isn't going to go very well, but I don't have a choice.
Momma doesn't want me.
Maybe Uncle Huck does.
Someone has to want me because I'm not sure how much longer I can hang on feeling so unloved.
