REBELLION by Jim Murray
A Story of Sea Mammals rebelling against Man’s Over-Commercialization of the Oceans. Led by an incredible dolphin and a man who has found a way to communicate with her. Can they succeed in having people finally listen?
Seventy-five years after William James Sidis died, a dolphin was born mutated. Mutated with an intellect close to that of a very intelligent human, but in some ways, superior to the masters of the planet. This incredible being, like Sidis, had a mutation none of the other dolphins could see. A mutation raised the intelligence of the female dolphin to a level equivalent to a human IQ of one hundred twenty-five times the median dolphin's IQ.
Unlike the humans, who could not easily recognize the higher intelligence of William James Sidis, Dolphins that came in contact with the mutated female could internally “see” her advanced ways of thinking. Upon contact, a dolphin's communication probed almost telepathically into the other's mathematical thought process. The regular dolphins communicated with the Alpha female instantly, viewing her superiority as if their minds were intertwined.
By the fifth summer of the advanced dolphin's life, she had organized the widespread population of loosely associated dolphin pods, including the distant cousins of porpoises and orcas, into one communicating group.
