Bend. That's about all I was willing to do for anyone. I wasn't one to be broken.
My mother and I had our lives stolen away from us in the blink of an eye.
We did what had to be done in order to seek revenge. I played my part and did what I had to do in order to survive.
That is until I met our mark's son.
Cash was everything I despised in a person. Arrogant, rich, powerful.
It made it easier that he hated me from the day he laid eyes on me.
Over time, that changes for both of us.
But I know I can't fall for him. HIs father ruined us and now we plan to ruin him.
That was until feelings got involved.
Now I'm not sure how far either of us will go for the other.
And that fact is scary.
