In Destroy Me vengono narrate, dal punto di vista di Warner, le vicende che si verificano tra Shatter Me e Unravel Me. In Shadow Me, ambientata durante gli eventi di Restore Me e l’inizio di Defy Me, mentre Juliette è ancora scossa dal tradimento di Warner, Kenji cerca un equilibrio tra l’amicizia con lei e le sue responsabilità come membro della resistenza contro la Restaurazione.
