Goblin Mischief by Kyler Anne Ford
A goblin and an FBI agent walk into a bar...

The only reason I'm not in federal prison for domestic terrorism is because the FBI can't arrest someone for being a goblin. Yet.

And it turns out, I'm not just any goblin. My estranged father was the most powerful hobgoblin on earth, and he didn't leave an instruction manual. I'd be just fine with the family pearls. Instead, I gain a bunch of magic I don't understand and accidentally destroy a priceless monument before I can figure it out.

Now I'm stuck on the wrong side of the country in the world's most uptight city, Washington DC, helping an FBI agent who does not believe in fairies with her first paranormal investigation. A supernatural creature is killing people and leaving nothing but a bit of colored sand behind. It's not me, but nobody else in law enforcement believes that.

The killer is so far out of my weight class it would be funny if his final target wasn't in the highest echelons of government. I have only days to escape from jail, clear my name, and figure out how to bring him down before he destroys the world as we know it. Oh, and flambés an insignificant goblin and the one person who's earned my trust.
