He's only dated women who were betas or alphas. But his last girlfriend wanted more of a commitment from him than he was willing to give, so he knew it was time to move on. Now that he's single, Marius is bored and lonely, so he's spending more time at local bars to find his next fling.

When some rough customers assault Rubin in the alley behind the bar, Marius steps in to stop them, saving Rubin's life. And despite Marius's insistence that he's straight, it seems that he and Rubin were meant to be more than just passing acquaintances.
