Crime of Passion by Roy Glenn
Attorney Marcus Douglas (In Your Arms) returns when a prominent Atlanta businessman, Roland Ferguson is accused of brutally murdering his wife and her lover with a golf club. When he is acquitted of the charges, the victim’s sister, model Carmen Taylor demands justice. “If Roland didn't kill her, fine. Somebody did! What bothers me is that nobody is interested in finding out who did.” When she is unable to convince the police to re-open the case, Carmen turns to Marcus for help. Together they begin an investigation into her sister’s dark sexual past. That investigation leads the pair into a world of drugs, prostitution, money laundering and murder that the police and the district Attorney seem unwilling to pursue.
