Clara is a successful lawyer in L.A. She moved to the West Coast after graduating from law school, leaving behind William, her best friend or more than that. Before she even settles in L.A., her law firm sends her to Siena, Italy, to work on a project for at least six months. This is the original plan.

Once in Siena, though, Clara's life takes unexpected turns. Her friendship with Mario, her eighty-year old neighbor, will help her resolve some of the questions that had remained unanswered, while taking her on a journey through some of the most beautiful places in Italy, to solve a puzzle in an old photo Mario had taken.

While the notes of jazz from the 20s and 30s are playing in the background, and they are dancing on those notes while tasting delicious food, you'll be transported to a timeless time, somewhere between dream and reality, on the not so unexpected Italian la la land.
