Struggles of the Women Folk by T.M. Brown
The recently released "Struggles of the Women Folk" is based on fictional characters and a storyline created from stories that TM Brown's grandmother shared with her as a child. She let my imagination run wild with it, listening to the characters speak to heralong the way. You will like this story and find yourself captivated by the storyline:

"It was a day just like any other day. “Run!” yelled Sissy, who never really spoke above a whisper, but I guess she knew what would happen if we didn’t run, so we dropped our books and lunch pails and headed back to the skool. “Come on back here. We ain’t gonna hurt ya.” The men laughed in the distance. We ran so fast that I could feel the skin on my face pull back."
