When Denni had persuaded Ingrid to go out for the evening she’d only had the word of a witch to go on that it was the right thing to do. Now she found that she’d put herself and her friend into the hands of the local wolf pack and things had not gone quite as she’d planned. But Ingrid was safe for now and that was all that mattered.
David knew he needed to protect both of the humans from the danger that had sent them to him. But protecting them was possibly the least of his worries. He’d found his mate, but not only did she not have a clue that the supernatural world existed, she was also running scared.
What would she do when she found out the secret that he needed to keep from her? Would she run from him or could he reach that part of her that she’d buried to protect herself?
