Mia persevered, however, making a great life for herself without either man. She turned away from foolishness and thugs and thought everything was just fine until she received a letter in the mail. Tyrone is getting out of prison, and he wants to get back in his son's life. He wants to get back in Mia's life as well.
But that's silly. Things are different now. He's a loser, and Mia is a success. The men on her dating schedule are executives with portfolios. Tyrone comes back and lives with his mama. He entreats Mia with love and promises of a happy home, but there's no way she'll give him a chance, is there? Mia can't deny the familiar passions, and Tyrone is more handsome than he ever was - not to mention his recently acquired physique.
Her friends tell her there's no hope. Mia is willing to give him a try, but can she fix Tyrone?
