It's finally my turn to go on a date with one of the handsome bachelors from the charity auction. And they must have been saving best for last, because I'm going on a date with a firefighter. I'm not just going on a date with a firefighter (he's even named Blaze, can you believe it?), but I'm getting to spend the night with him at the firehouse. Can you imagine the drama and the excitement?
Or... maybe not. My expectations for the evening are quickly turned on their head when instead of watching Blaze carry people out of burning buildings, I instead watch him clean equipment and make enough chili to feed a small village.
But even if my date doesn't match the fantasy I built in my head, that doesn't mean the experience won't be life-changing. And it doesn't mean I won't leave the date without offering up my heart.
