Claire, a surprise sister, is a social worker from Atlanta. After a break-in at her apartment, Claire quits her job and comes to Florida to meet her three older sisters. While there, she helps at the homeless shelter. Hawk, cousin of another surprise sister, is visiting River Oaks when Claire is attacked at the shelter. He finds a bomb strapped to the bottom of her car and can’t figure out who wants to kill her and why. The ghost of a family slave helps Hawk and Claire find the shocking answers.
