Valerie Hartmann must escape the trap her powerful brother-in-law, Edward Hartmann, has set for her – marry him or lose her five-year-old son, Joshua. Her only hope is to flee with Joshua and marry Roby in Planters Point, Nebraska.
Edward discovers where Valerie has fled. He boards a train west, and upon arrival, begins hunting her down. While Roby is out rounding up loose cattle one day, Valerie and Joshua are taken at gunpoint. Edward plans to dispose of Valerie and abduct Joshua.
Roby finds out and gives chase, but time is against him. Can he save the woman and the son he’s come to love?
