The kraken massages at Monster Work might be the hottest new trend, but I'd never consider trying them if my friends hadn't bought me a gift card for my birthday. I've always been safe, stable, unadventurous. Maybe a little uptight. I'm not the kind of person who gets massages from a kraken.
But now I have to go or I'll disappoint my friends. I'm only doing the standard massage though. Not the full massage--the one that includes... extra benefits.
The problem is that Cade, my kraken, is like nothing I ever expected, and one massage from him isn't nearly enough. So I go back. For the full experience. He can make me feel things I've never felt before, and not just with his tentacles. He can get me to release a lot more than tense muscles.
But no matter how hard I fall for him, our relationship can only be professional. I pay for our sessions together, and he won't even let me see his true face. I want more anyway, and maybe--maybe--he does too.
Released by the Kraken is a short, steamy monster romance between a human woman and a tentacled hero.
