In an instant her world was rocked and life as she once knew changed drastically. As a result, she took it hard, isolated herself from everyone and vowed to never be open to love again in fear of ever having to go through the type of pain she had to endure behind Emmett…until she met Emanuel.
Emanuel is a self-made boss who worked over-time to achieve his ultimate dream, which was to have his own restaurant. Struggling to pick up the pieces and move on with his life after losing his wife, Emanuel deals with loss and tragedy by pouring into his restaurant and living life day by day. Gemma comes into his life and has his full attention, yet he still feels that settling down is something he is not looking for…until he meets Misha.
Gemma is a young, beautiful, and very educated young lady who is looking for someone to not only sweep her off her feet, but to take care of her. She has her mind set on finding the perfect man and to her that is based off of status and bank account. Sia is Misha’s best friend who is on a mission to help Misha get her life back on track. All she wants is to see her friend happy again and enjoying life. Meanwhile, on the outside looking in, Sia is living her best life when in reality, she and Bruce have some serious issues going on in their marriage.
