It's part of why she turned her back on her mate. After nursing him back to health, she should have stayed with him. However, she feared it would only add to his mental confusion. With all the drugs he was on, she doesn't know if he even remembers her. It's better if he doesn't.

When she finds out he is holding an art exhibition, she waits across the street to catch a glimpse of him. When he doesn't show up for the opening, she cannot resist taking a risk. One quick look at his paintings.

What she sees stuns her. He knows who she is, and what she is to him.

Events quickly escalate, and Nadine is thrown into danger. Can Kurt save her, and somehow redeem his wolf?
