Dragon Dawn by Kate Genet
t's time for Reality Dawn and Rae to head home for a well-deserved rest – especially as their last holiday turned out to be a great deal more work than play. But when they open the door to the wagon, it's an unknown, rural landscape they step out into. And there's something in the sky that doesn't belong there – a dragon, a real, fire-breathing dragon. Despite Reality's protests that dragons no longer exist anywhere on any world, there's one there right in front of them, complete with dragon hunters on its tail.
What sort of earth is this? Dragons, kings, sorcerers, it sounds like some sort of fairy tale. But this earth is far too real - this dragon is definitely real, and must have come through a Reality Door somewhere. But Reality Dawn can't find the door.

All she and Rae can find, is a little boy suffering from nightmares.

This is a 35 000 word novella, the third in the Reality Dawn series,
