Kalazaron Rendor by Maia Starr

Medical doctor Lavender Prost was aboard a ship to conduct research and practice her passion for medicine. But when an alien race of dominate male warriors known as the Kalazaron change her life forever, she finds herself on a foreign planet under a constant danger of rebel attack. Her only hope is her new enemy, the attractive General Rendor Moscurn.

The master of the Kalazaron, Master Bresh, allows Lavender to demonstrate her medical skills, and sends her to the outpost of Belevenreed to be afield doctor. But when she meets the General he has no plans to use her for her skills and does not give her a chance. She must prove herself the only way she knows how, if only the General would listen.

Lavender is to be a re-constructionists...

Rendor Moscurn was groomed to be a re-constructionists, or those in charge of fixing the injured and wounded. Now, after being forced into the position of General, he must leave his passion behind and is being asked to give a human female slave the chance to be what he can’t. Unlike Master Bresh, he does not think this female has the strength to be a re-constructionists in the dangerous outpost of Belvenreed. But when she proves herself in the field he must learn to deal with her defiant ways that he finds irresistible.

But there’s danger ahead, Rendor has learned of a possible rebel attack, a big one. Lavender and Rendor must learn to work together to save lives, or risk losing the base to the rebels that are so near. As they work side by side, they find out that they make a good team, and not just in the battlefield...
