Stuck in the middle of nowhere with nothing but dust devils and wheat fields. This is definitely not what Charlie had planned for her summer holiday. And things only get worse when Kyle, the young rancher next door comes rumbling into her life on a four-wheeler and expects her to climb on the back for a trip to her aunt's farm. He's cocky, self-assured and he's starting to royally piss her off; too bad he's so easy on the eyes.
To make things worse, the farmhouse is home to the ghost of Charlotte, an ancestor of Charlie's who had planned to elope with a handsome ranch hand when the moon was full. But Harm is killed in a rodeo accident and the two are caught in limbo. Trouble is, Harm can see Charlotte every time there's a full moon, but she can't see him, and...you guessed it...he talks Charlie into helping him re-connect with his lost love.
Charlie has trouble of her own: making Kyle understand that talking to ghosts doesn't mean she's crazy, and that she intends to help the two lovers get back together with or without his help.
