The Zombie and the Chess Master by Bryan Cassiday
In the short story "The Zombie and the Chess Master," the chess master Leo Danziger claims a man attacked him and mutilated him. His wife and doctor don't believe him, not to mention his psychiatrist and the police. In fact, nobody believes Leo, because, according to Leo, his assailant fell out of Leo's fifteenth-story condo and walked away. How do you convince anybody of the truth when even you don't believe what you saw?

Also included are the first three chapters of Bryan Cassiday's new zombie apocalypse book "Sanctuary in Steel."

Praise for Bryan Cassiday's zombie fiction:
"Written with the epic scope of 'World War Z' and infused with the gritty spook works derring-do of a Robert Ludlum spy thriller, 'Sanctuary in Steel' is full of zombie mayhem through and through."--Joe McKinney, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of "Flesh Eaters" and "Inheritance"
