Snatchers is a horror, which sees the slow destruction of mankind, due to an unknown virus that is sweeping the UK as well as reports that is happening across other places around the world.


This novel tells the story of four sets of characters, trying to survive and coming to terms with the 'new world.'


The story focuses on a variety of individuals, including the Pointer family, Nurse Karen Bradley, Jack Slade who is searching for his son, and prison officers and inmates, that have been released, who come together to survive the pandemic.


These set of characters, who are worlds apart as far as personality are concerned, are brought together, and find that as time goes by, their quandary becomes tougher by the hour.


The book ends with an explosive climax. Who will survive?
