Liam Tighe: Archer, Rebel, Slave by Helen Gosney
A new, stand-alone novel by the author of the Red Rowan series, this is the story of the archer, Liam Tighe.
He joins a group of rebels, determined to rid his homeland of the all-conquering Indari Imperial Army. But bad leadership and overwhelming enemy numbers aren’t a good combination and he finds himself badly injured and alone, captured by the invading troops and branded a slave, with no hope of rescue. At least his injuries will probably keep him out of the arena… but slavery isn’t much of an option, to Liam’s way of thinking.
When all hope has gone, help might still come from a totally unexpected and dangerous source…
